I've finally broken through this d#$% writers block!!! I couldn't sleep while the full moon was shining through my window so I set about setting up my laptop in my office since my desktop crashed again and viola, seven pages later I've added four scenes to the manuscript. I keep reminding myself that there is a purpose to writers block and once again I was shown that purpose. Several new elements appeared tat I hadn't even considered before and they probably wouldn't have surfaced had I tried to push through. So I'm excited again about the whole process but can already see a major revision once I've written "THE END". I've completely forgotten a subplot that I set up in the first scene, and several scenes need reworked but the goal for now is just to get it written the first time and deal with rewrites in the second draft.

That's the good news. Now for the bad. I'm supposed to be on a flight to Vegas in 6 hours but with all the terrorist stuff going on in Europe, the crazy security measures now in place and the general craziness going on in my own life, I've had to postpone the trip until next month. Disappointment all the way around but a least I'll still be making the trip. My friend and I haven't seen each other in many years. We can wait one more month. I hope.

Angel, my all black kitten, has jumped up in my lap. It's her turn at the computer so I'll sign off for now. Meow.
