This week's question is Shakespeare asked What's in a name? But we all know better. So let's talk about names, specifically our blog's name. How did you come up with yours?
my blog name: It's a WRITER'S LIFE.
It's an offshoot of It's a Wonderful Life, and living the life of a Writer is a wonderful life, if only the j.o.b. didn't get in the way. But I must say there has been numerous occassions when I was afforded time to do what I wanted and what I wanted was to write. I had a marvelous time doing so and hopefully soon, will be able to do so again.
When anyone asks me what I do in my free time, the answer is always 'write.' Luckily, I write in many genres and forms so I never get bored, except for the occassional writer's block, which has not afflicted me in many, many months. My secret? Having submitted my first piece and being accepted on the second try. Not that I expect that to be the norm but it sure boosted my confidence (and possibly my ego, but isn't that secretly why we write?)
It really is a (WONDERFUL) WRITER'S LIFE.
