the sounds of Spring in the air-
birds and crickets chirping, squirrels chattering,
a beautiful day in early May.

all the windows open, listening-
pounding bass car radio, lawn mowers,
and the hammering of neighbor's new construction-

thank Heavens for air conditioning.
