I love to play in the dirt,
it never seems like like work,
to plant lilies or roses,
to stretch out the water hoses,
tomatoes, basil and cucumbers,
makes my mouth start to water,
corn, broccoli and cauliflower,
surround everything with fertilizer,
and watch all my flowers bloom,
pick strawberries by the light of the moon,
bushel baskets filled and overflowing,
sharing my bounty to smiles showing,
